This role suits motivated individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a strong ability to lead, train, and motivate a team. Assistant Managers play a crucial role in adhering to operational standards, overseeing daily activities, and driving financial performance within the restaurant.

A primary responsibility of the RAM is to deliver exceptional customer service by guiding their team to provide friendly, efficient, and memorable guest experiences. The assistant manager is tasked with learning, managing, and teaching restaurant systems effectively to meet and exceed company goals. They are expected to monitor food and labor costs, analyze variances, and take appropriate corrective actions to improve results and maintain profitability. Additionally, the assistant manager provides consistent feedback and coaching to staff members, fostering professional growth and encouraging a culture of accountability and excellence.

This position demands versatility, requiring the RAM to work all shifts as needed to meet business demands. It also requires an ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment without compromising the quality of service or operations. Physical stamina is essential, as the role involves standing for extended periods and performing various physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and lifting.

Candidates should have supervisory experience within the restaurant or retail industry and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Preference is given to those possessing ServSafe certification to ensure thorough knowledge of food safety protocols. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are mandatory, as is legal authorization to work in the United States.

GPS Hospitality offers a vibrant workplace characterized by a positive team atmosphere and opportunities for career advancement through structured training programs. The company provides attractive benefits including a competitive, performance-based bonus program, comprehensive health and life insurance options, an HSA program, generous paid time off, and employee rewards and recognition initiatives.
