The Team Member position at Burger King is a vital role responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and supporting day-to-day restaurant operations. Team Members are the backbone of the restaurant operations, responsible for greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, processing payments, and handling guest inquiries or concerns professionally. This role also involves preparing and packaging food and drink items according to Burger King's quality guidelines, ensuring cleanliness of various work areas including the kitchen, dining room, restrooms, and exterior grounds, as well as stocking and unloading inventory. Furthermore, Team Members operate cash registers and point of sale devices, applying suggestive-selling strategies to create additional sales opportunities.

The position requires flexibility as Team Members perform duties across multiple stations, such as front counter service, Drive-Thru, food preparation, and expediting. Maintaining health and safety standards within the workspace is critical, as is adhering to Burger King's uniform and grooming policies. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greets guests with a smile, receives orders, processes payments, and responds appropriately to customer issues
  • operates cash register or point of sale devices, as needed, and uses value-added suggestive-selling techniques to generate additional sales opportunities
  • verifies the accuracy of guests' orders
  • prepares and packages food and drink products
  • cleans kitchen area, counters, food preparation areas, and utensils
  • cleans dining room, restrooms and exterior grounds

  • performs duties at multiple workstations (e.g., front counter, Drive-Thru, prep boards, expediter, etc.)
