Job Requirements
- minimum of two years tractor and semi-trailer experience
- maintain a qualified CDL license with necessary endorsements
- safe driving history
- ability to pass pre-employment road test demonstrating commercial vehicle handling
- ability to work five-day schedule per Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- maintain physical qualifications required by FMCSR
- ability to stand, lift and stoop as per job duties
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended stays
- ability to adjust to scheduling changes
- understanding and adherence to FMCSR guidelines
- competency in safe handling of cryogenic liquids including loading, transport and unloading
Job Qualifications
- minimum of three years tractor and semi-trailer experience
- valid Class A CDL with hazardous materials, tanker and air brake endorsements
- safe driving record
- ability to drive manual transmission
- competence in handling commercial motor vehicle equipment
- knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- ability to operate delivery and loading equipment in various weather conditions
- willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- safe loading and unloading of cryogenic liquids including oxygen, nitrogen and argon
- practice safe driving techniques daily while operating company vehicles
- report all accidents and unsafe acts or conditions
- comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
- complete and submit required regulatory and company documents
- communicate effectively with dispatchers, planners and customers regarding scheduling, delays and site discrepancies
- maintain professional appearance and develop good working relationships with customers and colleagues
