Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- must possess a government ID and social security card
- must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge
- must have or be able to attain reliable transportation
- able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
- able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check
- must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs
- must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of electricity, carpentry, and plumbing among other technical skills
- excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding
- exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on the ground
- can evaluate computer-related work orders following accuracy
- provide all basic hand tools
Job Duties
- Assist electrical, HVAC, and plumbing technicians
- be able to perform scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
- monitor HVAC airflow and distribution in terminals
- change HVAC filters
- maintain, repair, and replace electrical motors
- maintain, repair, and replace water and hydraulic pumps
- diagnose and resolve electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues that may arise
- ensure the proper use of all tools for cutting, bending, and welding of equipment
- carry out detailed evaluation of equipment to ensure they are in good condition for proper use
- carry out repairs on ceilings, floors, and walls by combining plaster or spackle and painting
- inspect equipment such as refrigerators and air conditioners from time to time for proper cleaning, speed, temperature, and adequate lubrication
- repair and change locks in the building and perform complex lock servicing to ensure maximum safety of all people
