Job Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • must possess a government ID and social security card
  • must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge
  • must have or be able to attain reliable transportation
  • able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
  • able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check
  • must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs
  • must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electricity, carpentry, and plumbing among other technical skills
  • excellent ability to communicate system problems to both co-workers and management for proper understanding
  • exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on the ground
  • can evaluate computer-related work orders following accuracy
  • provide all basic hand tools

Job Duties

  • Assist electrical, HVAC, and plumbing technicians
  • be able to perform scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
  • monitor HVAC airflow and distribution in terminals
  • change HVAC filters
  • maintain, repair, and replace electrical motors
  • maintain, repair, and replace water and hydraulic pumps
  • diagnose and resolve electrical, HVAC, and plumbing issues that may arise
  • ensure the proper use of all tools for cutting, bending, and welding of equipment
  • carry out detailed evaluation of equipment to ensure they are in good condition for proper use
  • carry out repairs on ceilings, floors, and walls by combining plaster or spackle and painting
  • inspect equipment such as refrigerators and air conditioners from time to time for proper cleaning, speed, temperature, and adequate lubrication
  • repair and change locks in the building and perform complex lock servicing to ensure maximum safety of all people
