As a Buffet Server at Cherokee Nation Entertainment, you will play a vital role within the dining team, providing guests with a welcoming and efficient dining experience in our buffet venues. This position requires a friendly and attentive demeanor as you serve beverages, assist guests with their needs, and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dining areas. Your role is integral in ensuring that every guest feels valued and enjoys their visit, contributing to the overall positive reputation of Cherokee Nation Entertainment. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring you to manage multiple tasks while upholding the highest standards of customer service. You will also collaborate closely with other team members to maintain smooth operations and create an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to return.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to obtain a food handler's card
  • Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority
  • Ability to obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license
  • Requires standing for long periods of time, frequent bending, and kneeling
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in settings that may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve all beverages ordered by guests in a proper, efficient, and friendly manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, promptly fulfilling requests
  • Uphold cleanliness standards for your station and shared areas of responsibility
  • Perform all pre-bussing during the dining experience to ensure tables are cleared efficiently
  • Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment (The Big Six)
