Job Description

Delaware North Gaming is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Bussers at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. Delaware North is a global leader in hospitality and food service management, recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences across various industries such as gaming, sports, and entertainment. The Southland Casino Hotel, a prominent Delaware North property, features more than 2200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, a sportsbook, and a new hotel with 300 luxurious rooms and suites. Located just a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee, the casino provides a lively and welcoming environment for both guests and employees alike.

As a Busser at Southland Casino, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area to ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests. This full-time and part-time opportunity demands excellent time management skills, the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, and flexibility to respond to changing priorities throughout the shift. The role requires individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and take pride in delivering top-quality service while supporting the front-of-house team. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays weighing up to 35 pounds for set-up, service, and clean-up
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • At least one year of experience or training in a similar position
  • No high school diploma or GED required

  • At least one year of experience or training as a Runner or Busser with a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours, as needed
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Job Duties

  • Check in with management for daily assignments and attend pre-shift briefing
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room
  • Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables between courses and after guests depart
  • Reset tables once guests leave, according to the floor plan or instructions from management
  • Assist in counting china, glass, silver, and linen
