Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year cooking experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- Ability to use all sensory capabilities including vision, hearing, tasting, smelling, touching, and speaking
- Must be able to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
- Ability to handle kitchen tools safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food in a timely manner and follow all company recipes and specifications
- Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
- Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience
- Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently using methods such as tasting or piercing with utensils
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work station and kitchen
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas for safe, sanitary food-handling practices
