Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace and health standards
- Ability to maintain professional behavior with residents, visitors, and coworkers
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to work in a sanitation-focused environment and handle cleaning materials safely

Job Duties
- Receive assignment from supervisor and follow cleaning schedule to clean resident rooms, nursing stations, kitchens, dining rooms, therapy/treatment rooms, offices, restrooms, activity rooms, utility areas, closets, lobbies, lounges, and halls
- Clean, dust, wash, and disinfect fixtures, floors, walls, doors, ceilings, water fountains, sinks, mirrors, glass panels, brass furnishings, ledges, shelves, vents, windows, and replenish supplies
- Perform terminal cleaning duties in resident rooms upon discharge or transfer and prepare rooms for new occupants
- Perform cleaning duties in isolation rooms according to policy and perform terminal cleaning when residents are transferred
- Check and restock utility cart with supplies and equipment before cleaning
- Maintain order of supply closet by arranging equipment and supplies neatly
- Identify and report areas needing special housekeeping attention to Director of Housekeeping
- Clean and disinfect resident care equipment
