Job Description

Dutch Bros Coffee is a dynamic and rapidly growing coffee company known for its exceptional culture and community impact. Founded in Oregon, Dutch Bros has blossomed into one of the largest privately held drive-thru coffee chains in the United States. The company’s foundation rests on a mission to love people, make a difference in the community, and provide extraordinary experiences to every customer through genuine connections and high-quality beverages. Unlike many companies, Dutch Bros Coffee considers itself more than just a coffee shop; it’s a fun-loving, community-driven organization that values authenticity, kindness, and positive energy.

At Dutch Bros Coffee, the culture is deeply rooted in valuing each team member and customer, fostering an environment where everyone feels appreciated and empowered. This makes working at Dutch Bros not just a job but a rewarding experience where employees (referred to as Broistas) are celebrated for their unique selves and encouraged to grow both professionally and personally. The company’s philosophy of "love all, serve all" is evident in its daily operations and interactions, cultivating a positive workplace and a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

The role offered is that of a Broista, an integral part of the Dutch Bros family. The Broista is more than a barista; they are cultivators of connection and positivity, tasked with providing customers not just a great cup of coffee but a memorable and uplifting experience. As a Broista, you will be a team player who champions the success of others, authentic in your interactions, adaptable to changing circumstances, and always people-first by sharing kindness and positivity. The responsibilities include engaging customers with genuine enthusiasm, educating them about the menu and specials, embodying the Dutch Bros culture, maintaining consistency in service speed and quality, and being reliable and ready to support teammates.

Working as a Broista offers more than just an hourly wage (up to $16.00 including average tips of $6.00 per hour); it promises empowerment, community involvement opportunities, and support for your holistic well-being. Employees enjoy benefits like paid volunteer time, educational benefits up to $5,250 annually, employee assistance programs, employee resource groups, and access to training programs designed to set you up for success. Additionally, Dutch Bros values its staff by providing swag, free drinks, and a 401(k) matching program, which translates to a comprehensive and supportive working environment.

Expect a physically active role where you will be standing, moving, lifting up to 65 lbs, and occasionally exposed to various weather conditions due to the outdoor and drive-thru nature of many Dutch Bros locations. The position requires adherence to safety and procedural standards, including maintaining a Food Handler Permit or Certification as required by local regulations.

In summary, Dutch Bros Coffee offers a unique and vibrant work environment focused on personal growth, community impact, and delivering joy one cup at a time. Joining Dutch Bros means becoming part of a family that is passionate about coffee, all while making a meaningful difference through service, community engagement, and a culture of positivity and respect.
