Job Description
Dutch Bros Coffee is more than just a coffee company; it is a vibrant, enthusiastic organization that thrives on community involvement and exceptional customer experience. Founded with the mission to love people, make a difference in the community, and provide extraordinary experiences, Dutch Bros has grown into a beloved brand known for its fun-loving and inclusive culture. As a company, Dutch Bros is dedicated to fostering a workplace where employees, known as Broistas, are not only valued but empowered to live out a philosophy that centers on loving all and serving all. This philosophy creates a unique and engaging atmosphere where teamwork, authenticity, adaptability, and a people-first approach are deeply ingrained in every interaction. Employees are encouraged to be their authentic selves while supporting each other’s growth and success, making it a truly dynamic place to work.
The role of Broista at Dutch Bros Coffee is designed for individuals who are passionate about people and enjoy working in an energetic, supportive environment. This position is more than just making coffee; it embodies building relationships, engaging with customers daily, and contributing positively to the team and local community. Broistas greet customers with genuine smiles, educate them about the menu and specials, and ensure a consistent experience that aligns with the company’s core values of speed, quality, and service. The role demands positivity, reliability, and adaptability as employees face fast-paced and changing work conditions. Besides frontline customer interaction, Broistas also benefit from comprehensive training and support, including an Education Benefit Program that offers up to $5,250 annually for professional development after one year of employment. Additionally, Dutch Bros values physical and mental health through Employee Assistance Programs and Employee Resource Groups. Employees also receive 8 hours of paid volunteer time, free drinks, Dutch Bros swag, and are eligible for a tip pool after completing training. The compensation includes up to $16.00 per hour, which comprises an average tip of $6.00 per hour, although tip amounts may vary based on location and service quality. Ultimately, working at Dutch Bros Coffee means joining a community-focused company that prioritizes fun, growth, and making a positive impact one cup at a time.
