Job Requirements

  • meet minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverage service
  • maintain knowledge of state liquor laws and company policies
  • demonstrate professional and ethical conduct
  • ensure prompt and friendly guest service
  • complete knowledge of bar setups and drink recipes
  • ability to identify and manage intoxicated guests according to company standards
  • experience or training in mixology and beverage preparation

Job Qualifications

  • two years experience and/or training in mixology liquor and food service
  • strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items
  • ability to maintain a high-energy and engaging service environment
  • effective communication skills
  • competence in handling guest service situations and making sound decisions
  • familiarity with state liquor regulations and responsible alcohol service
  • skill in cash handling and credit card processing

Job Duties

  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently
  • assist in the maintenance of bar area equipment via opening and closing checklists
  • create and contribute to a high-energy environment promoting guest and family member engagement
  • communicate effectively with management and team members to foster a respectful work environment
  • ensure compliance with company standards for guest service including following liquor laws and policies
  • greet guests and take orders using suggestive selling and upselling techniques
  • prepare guest checks and process credit cards adhering to cash handling procedures
