Job Requirements
- Meet the minimum age requirement for the service of alcoholic beverages
- demonstrate courteous and efficient preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- assist in the maintenance of bar area equipment via opening and closing checklists
- ensure compliance with state liquor regulations prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated patrons, and driving while under the influence
- maintain complete knowledge of alcoholic menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, and daily specials
- maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink
- maintain complete knowledge of bar setups, hours of operation, drink prices, and menu items
- adhere to company guidelines for prompt, friendly service
- facilitate professional and ethical manner that is beyond reproach
- ensure proper documentation for all accidents and incidents per company policies and procedures
- greet guests and take orders using suggestive selling and upselling techniques
- prepare guest checks and process credit cards while adhering to all cash handling and credit card procedures
- maintain complete knowledge of property layouts, table, seat, station numbers, proper table setups, room capacity, price ranges, and dress codes
Job Qualifications
- Two years experience and or training in mixology, liquor, and food service
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
