Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service or specialty store environment preferred
  • Experience with computerized POS system preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work minimal weekday hours and primarily weekends
  • Ability to follow company dress code
  • Ability to use electronic devices for extended periods
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Availability to complete required training and development courses

Job Duties

  • Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone and in person
  • Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver 5-star customer experience
  • Provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously
  • Prepare for customer appointments by reviewing profiles and fitting rooms
  • Build relationships by understanding customer needs
  • Strive to identify the perfect gown/dress in the first three try-ons
  • Review timeline calendar and set future appointments
  • Promote alteration services and personalize dress fittings
  • Ensure proper measurements are taken and entered accurately
  • Maintain store standards including cleanliness and promotional readiness
  • Adhere to dress code standards
  • Offer loyalty and partner programs
  • Respond promptly to customer questions and build customer satisfaction
  • Maintain sales productivity standards using the 5-Step Selling Process
  • Accurately process transactions and promote services
  • Achieve platform conversion and add-on sales goals
  • Set comeback appointments for the wedding party
  • Continually build product knowledge and fashion expertise
  • Execute new processes, promotions, merchandising, markdowns, and inventory counts
  • Support the store team in achieving sales and operational goals
  • Accurately clock in and out for all shifts and breaks
  • Follow loss prevention and security policies
  • Focus on personal development and complete assigned training
  • Share sales expertise and accept coaching
  • Complete required learning courses within 90 days
