Job Requirements

  • Must possess a Multi-Engine Commercial certificate
  • Must hold a valid 2nd class medical certificate
  • Minimum of 500 total flight hours including 100 cross-country, 10 multi-engine, and 25 night hours
  • Able to pass an FAA-required 10-year work history review
  • Able to pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
  • Possess and maintain a valid US or foreign passport
  • Authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel internationally
  • Eligible for CANPASS entry to Canada
  • Must submit to and pass FAA and company mandated drug and alcohol tests
  • Able to work a rotating and varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical capability to operate emergency equipment and handle up to 70 pounds of force
  • Able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds
  • Able to adhere to FAA medical visual and auditory standards
  • Must have stamina for long days and changing climates
  • Able to work near moving mechanical parts and withstand noise and weather conditions
  • Able to perform duties quickly and effectively in confined aircraft spaces

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Possession of a Multi-Engine Commercial pilot certificate
  • Valid 2nd class medical certificate
  • Minimum 500 total flight hours including 100 cross-country, 10 multi-engine, and 25 night hours
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • Effective verbal communication skills in English
  • Prior customer service experience preferably in aviation
  • Instructor experience is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions under stress
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Eligible for CANPASS entry to Canada

Job Duties

  • Commands the aircraft and crew from departure to destination
  • Ensures the safety of passengers, crewmembers, cargo, and aircraft
  • Operates assigned flights after determining airworthiness and reviewing relevant factors such as weather and navigational aids
  • Reviews the load manifest for accuracy
  • Supervises enroute performance of other crew members
  • Ensures compliance with company procedures and FAA regulations
  • Advises the flight coordinator of situations affecting the flight schedule
  • Contributes to reliable and on-time operations by meeting report and turnaround times
  • Assists in the loading and unloading of the aircraft when necessary
  • Provides experience and instruction to First Officers to aid skill development
  • Maintains attendance and adheres to company dress code and rules of conduct
  • Pursues professional training for skills upgrading
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required
