Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
- Ability to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for several hours at a time
- Ability to climb a ladder and use a step ladder
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary
- Ability to safely walk between and around cars in the drive-through lane
- Ability to safely use a utility knife
- Follow company procedure for communicating time off requests
- Bring good hygiene and dress appropriately for the assigned position
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Ability to follow procedures and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Positive attitude and team player
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Converse with customers to confirm their drink orders, and correctly key them into our point-of-sale system
- Collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to the customer
- Prepare all drinks and premixes
- Move with urgency, on the customer’s time
- Stay productive and proactive throughout the entire shift, even when business is slow
- Make personal connections with customers through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language
- Know our menu and drink customizations inside and out
- Help customers identify and correctly order their desired drink
- Offer suggestions and recommendations when appropriate
- Bring their best self to work every day following dress and hygiene standards
- Be familiar with shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores
- Always be clocked in and ready to work at their assigned position when their shift begins
- Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations
