- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures and climates
- Physical requirements include continuous standing, bending, lifting, and pushing
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Preferred 2 year or greater degree or brewing experience
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Computer experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varying temperatures and climates
- Physical requirements include continuous standing, bending, lifting, and pushing
- Basic mathematic and scientific knowledge, technical skills, decision-making skills and presentation skills required
- Must have a positive work attitude and be self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Operate brewing beer production systems and equipment including grains unloading, brewhouse, fermentation, secondary aging, filtration, and flavored alcoholic beverage processes
- Responsible for brewing process management, housekeeping, and sanitation
- Manage or control brewing systems, drive fork trucks, record process data, troubleshoot and respond to activities during shift
- Ensure that all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Maintain plant safety and quality requirements
- Function in a lean manufacturing work environment using problem solving tools to optimize processes
- Work effectively in a team environment
