Job Requirements

  • Passion for people, place and culture of the community
  • Minimum one year experience in restaurant serving
  • TIPS alcohol service certification preferred
  • Ability to meet local age requirements for alcohol service
  • Availability for flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Fluency in English verbal and written
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Good fine motor skills
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
  • Ability to handle varied physical tasks including carrying tables, chairs and trays
  • Ability to maintain balance on varied floor surfaces
  • Ability to handle hot fluids safely

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience as a restaurant server in free-standing or hotel restaurant
  • TIPS alcohol service certification preferred
  • Ability to meet local age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Fluency in English verbal and written
  • Ability to stand and walk for majority of a shift including safe navigation of wet floors and steps
  • Fine motor coordination for pour and cocktail decoration
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and roll or carry tables and chairs
  • Excellent sight and balance for varied floor surfaces
  • Ability to handle hot fluids and lighted candles
  • Passion for hospitality and community culture

Job Duties

  • Uphold and model company principles of people, place and character
  • Assist guests from greeting to completion of their experience ensuring exceptional service
  • Participate in daily lineups and staff meetings to develop ideas and provide feedback
  • Maintain working knowledge of menus, ingredients and daily availability
  • Serve food and beverages safely and responsibly adhering to health and safety measures
  • Keep workstation clean and organized respecting guests, peers and equipment
  • Demonstrate urgency in responding to guest requests
  • Understand culinary and beverage terms and study craft constantly
  • Report facility conditions and communicate with food and beverage leadership
  • Assist in other food and beverage department areas as needed
