Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, balancing both dining service and barista duties
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Prior barista experience or familiarity with operating espresso machinery is highly preferred
  • Ability to quickly memorize standard coffee recipes and prepare beverages efficiently under pressure
  • Strong service orientation, including knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer and personal services
  • Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Ability to obtain any government-required licenses or certificates

Job Duties

  • Greet guests quickly and courteously, responding to all guest and client requests promptly and efficiently
  • Set up tables as instructed by the supervisor to include linen, service ware, and glassware
  • Serve food and/or beverages according to supervisor's directions
  • Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course or at the end of the meal
  • Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction
  • Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking stations with supplies
  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee, espresso, and tea beverages, strictly adhering to "We Proudly Serve Starbucks" recipes, measurements, and quality standards
  • Operate, properly clean, and maintain espresso machines, coffee brewers, blenders, and other specialized equipment
  • Accurately process guest transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee station (including syrups, milks, pastries, and cups) throughout the shift
  • Attend pre-shift meetings as needed to discuss particulars, including service, guest, and hotel expectations
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health standards
  • Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor
