This Server role at Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown plays a crucial part in delivering outstanding guest service while ensuring the smooth operational functionality of the hotel’s food and beverage services. As a Server, you will work alongside the entire engineering and hospitality team to maintain meticulous service standards and contribute positively to the guest experience. The role demands dedication to craftsmanship in preparing dishes according to standard recipes or guest preferences, ensuring that all products are stored correctly, portioned with precision, and waste is minimized through effective product rotation. In addition, you will monitor the levels of food, produce and cooking supplies regularly to facilitate timely restocking.

Maintaining cleanliness and functionality throughout refrigeration, storage, and work areas is essential to support the hotel’s quality standards. The role also entails adhering to physical demands such as lifting and carrying loads up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts, and performing cleaning and maintenance tasks that require bending, stooping, and working in confined spaces. Meeting deadlines and contributing to a fast-paced environment by cleaning a minimum number of rooms daily is part of the operational expectations.
