We are currently seeking a motivated and attentive Restaurant Server to join our team. The Restaurant Server plays a crucial role in our operation by providing the highest level of courteous and efficient service to our guests. This role involves taking accurate food and beverage orders, serving drinks including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and ensuring that every guest’s needs are anticipated and met promptly. The position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and have a keen interest in the food and beverage industry. Responsibilities extend beyond service to include maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation of service areas, processing payments accurately, and supporting the overall guest experience from arrival to departure. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a hotel or related field a plus
  • English fluency
  • Certification in liquor, wine and food service a plus
  • Ability to use computers
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field a plus
  • English fluency required
  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a plus
  • Ability to input and access information in computers
  • Willing and able to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Possess basic reading, writing and math skills

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menus and specials in restaurant
  • Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations
  • Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, bar tables, stations and service areas
  • Quickly and accurately take guest orders
  • Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
  • Accurately prepare meal checks and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift, cards room credits and vouchers
  • Clear clean and reset tables as needed
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management
