The Salad Line Cook will primarily be responsible for preparing salad ingredients and assembling salads in accordance with the executive chef’s precise instructions. This role demands careful attention to detail, food safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. In addition to preparing salads, the successful candidate will assist with station setup, maintain cleanliness, and support the overall kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy breakfast and dining periods. Job Requirements
- work experience as a line cook or similar role
- willingness to work as a team player when preparing dishes and coordinating meal service
- organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and kitchen
- hands-on experience with professional kitchen equipment
- good knowledge of food plating techniques
- understanding of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time when cooking and preparing food
- willingness to work required shifts, i.e., night shift, breakfast rush, including evenings and weekends
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- a degree from a culinary school is a plus
