The Breakfast Food & Beverage Supervisor position at Archer Hotel Napa offers a unique opportunity for a passionate and dedicated leader to elevate the morning dining experience for guests. As a pivotal role within the hotel’s food and beverage team, this supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the breakfast restaurant, ensuring that each guest receives exceptional service and a memorable start to their day. The supervisor will lead by example, motivating and managing the morning service team to deliver seamless and exemplary guest experiences. This position requires excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, working closely with the sous chefs and front-of-house staff to maintain operational excellence and consistent quality. The role also involves supporting team training and development, managing schedules and labor efficiently, overseeing inventory controls, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance with safety and alcohol beverage regulations.
Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager, the Breakfast Food & Beverage Supervisor acts as an essential link between various departments, ensuring clear communication and a unified team approach. Beyond operational duties, this role demands a strong presence on the floor, anticipating guest needs in a fast-paced environment, handling guest concerns professionally and promptly, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for both guests and team members. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months of related experience in hospitality or a service industry
- Ability to stand for extended periods and periodically exert up to 60 pounds of force
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow directions and work within guidelines
- Must be eager to be part of a great work culture and team
- Capable of reaching overhead, leaning over, stooping and kneeling
- Committed to regular attendance and punctuality
- Flexible to adapt to changes quickly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory experience in a food and beverage or hospitality environment preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties
- Supervise daily food outlet operations to ensure the successful execution of all standards and completion of daily tasks and assignments
- Lead and motivate the morning service team, ensuring consistent and exceptional guest experiences
- Greet customers with a smile and pleasant demeanor
- Ensure that all personnel and systems function efficiently so that guests' expectations are surpassed
- Assist in the onboarding and training of team members
- Promote excellent guest service and handle guest concerns in a prompt and professional manner
- Ensure that outlets are sanitized, cleaned, stocked and set up correctly at the start of and throughout the shift while adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
