Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or less of similar or related work experience
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
Vision (including depth perception, color vision, and field of vision) with or without correction
Physical ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
Ability to work in cool and warm environments and with exposure to noise, vibrations, cleaning chemicals, and possible equipment hazards
Availability to report to work on scheduled times and punctuality

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or less of related work experience
Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading heavy items, passing along suggestions
Answers the telephone promptly with friendly, helpful service
Works collaboratively with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant environment
Prepares cooking surfaces and breakfast foods including vegetables, sides, meats
Places food in hot cases, monitors and refills as necessary
Prepares items for upcoming shifts
Ensures understanding of kitchen operations
Practices proper sanitation and maintains cleanliness
Maintains personal hygiene and adheres to company dress guidelines
Follows company policies and store guidelines
Reports to work on time
Knowledgeable of menu items and takes guest orders
Provides direct customer service when necessary
Orders products and supplies or notifies department head
Assists in other store areas as needed
Performs other job-related duties and special projects
