Job Requirements

High school or equivalent experience
Six months or less of similar or related work experience
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly
Ability to see and distinguish colors with or without correction
Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction, copy figures, count and record
Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Must report to work when scheduled and on time
Must adhere to company policies and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or less of similar or related work experience
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction, copy figures, count and record
Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies orally or in writing
Friendly and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work well in a team environment
Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food preparation practices

Job Duties

Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
Make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name when possible
Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, making note of customer suggestions, and performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience
Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service
Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
Prepare cooking surfaces
Prepare vegetables, sides, meats and breakfast foods
Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts and refill as necessary
Prepare items for upcoming shifts
Ensure personal understanding of all kitchen aspects
Practice proper sanitation and keep work area clean
Maintain adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
Report to work on time
Knowledgeable of menu items and able to take guest orders
