Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly
- Ability to see and distinguish colors with or without correction
- Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction, copy figures, count and record
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Must report to work when scheduled and on time
- Must adhere to company policies and hygiene standards

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name when possible
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, making note of customer suggestions, and performing other tasks to enhance the shopping experience
- Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service
- Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- Prepare cooking surfaces
- Prepare vegetables, sides, meats and breakfast foods
- Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts and refill as necessary
- Prepare items for upcoming shifts
- Ensure personal understanding of all kitchen aspects
- Practice proper sanitation and keep work area clean
- Maintain adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- Report to work on time
- Knowledgeable of menu items and able to take guest orders
