The role of Breakfast Attendant at Level5 Hospitality is an essential position within the hotel's food and beverage department. The primary responsibility is to prepare the breakfast bar for hotel guests while providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service. The role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and guest satisfaction in the breakfast dining area. A Breakfast Attendant ensures everything is set up correctly in the morning, that fresh foods and beverages are replenished throughout service hours, and that the dining environment remains clean and welcoming. Job Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift
  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility
  • Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs
  • Level5 high touch service
  • Flexibility with shifts and scheduling
  • Must be available weekends and/or holidays
  • Must have transportation to and from work
  • Must have stellar attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Experience working in food service is preferred
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members

Job Duties

  • Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
  • Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
  • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
  • Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
  • Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment
  • Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes, or trays
  • Fill beverage and ice dispensers
  • Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
  • Performs other related duties as required
