The role of Breakfast Attendant at Stonebridge is integral to the food and beverage service team. This position is part-time, full-time, seasonal, or on-call, reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. The Breakfast Attendant is primarily responsible for setting up, replenishing, and maintaining the breakfast buffet to ensure a smooth and pleasant dining experience for guests. The role requires a friendly, professional, and efficient approach to customer service, with a keen focus on cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities include preparing the buffet with all necessary food and beverage items, ensuring that the buffet remains well-stocked throughout service hours. The Breakfast Attendant greets guests warmly, assists with food and beverage choices, and maintains the tidiness of the dining area and kitchen prep stations. Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines is critical to this role, ensuring all practices comply with health regulations. Monitoring inventory and communicating any shortages to supervisors is also key to supporting uninterrupted service.
Additionally, the Breakfast Attendant is tasked with clearing used dishes, cleaning tables, and helping with setup and breakdown of breakfast service, including cleaning and storing equipment. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays is required, reflecting the operational needs of the hospitality service. This position also demands the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or customer-facing roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring all items are stocked and available throughout service
- Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with food and beverage selections
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, buffet, and kitchen prep stations
- Replenish food and beverage items as needed, including hot and cold items, condiments, and utensils
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Monitor inventory and notify the supervisor of any shortages or reorder needs
- Clear and clean tables, removing used dishes and ensuring the dining area is always presentable
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide a positive dining experience
