Known for its commitment to excellence and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment, Atrium Hospitality operates a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts across various locations. The Murfreesboro Embassy Suites, located at 1200 Conference Center Boulevard in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is part of this network, offering comfortable accommodations and exceptional amenities for travelers and guests alike. This property is known for its spacious suites, modern facilities, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction, making it a preferred destination for business and leisure travelers in the region.
The Breakfast Attendant role at Murfreesboro Embassy Suites is a part-time position that offers a competitive compensation starting at $15.00 per hour, though actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location specifics. This role is integral to the morning operations of the hotel, ensuring guests begin their day with a positive and welcoming breakfast experience. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing breakfast orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining area. The position demands a combination of excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Working at Atrium Hospitality means embracing the Atrium SPIRIT values: Service, Perseverance, Inclusion, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork. These core principles guide daily interactions and operations, creating a workplace where employees are motivated to go above and beyond in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Career growth is a hallmark of the company culture, with 40% of management hires promoted internally, underscoring the company’s commitment to developing talent from within. Employees also benefit from a 401(k) plan with company match, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options, paid time off and vacation benefits, as well as exclusive discounts and wellness programs. Additionally, Atrium Hospitality emphasizes community engagement through volunteer programs that allow employees to make a meaningful impact beyond the workplace.
This role involves various duties such as greeting guests as they arrive for breakfast, taking and delivering their orders with friendliness and efficiency, scheduling reservations, answering phone calls, and assisting with special requests or event coordination. Monitoring assigned tables, coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service, and addressing guest questions or concerns are critical tasks. The Breakfast Attendant is also responsible for processing payments, accurately reporting tips, closing out sales at shift end, and ensuring service stations are fully stocked and clean. Flexibility is essential, as the position requires availability during days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
No prior experience is necessary to apply for this position. Atrium Hospitality encourages individuals with a great attitude and a passion for teamwork to join their team, offering training and support to help new employees succeed. Preferred candidates may have restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience. Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certification are required or must be obtained within 60 days of employment. The company’s supportive and family-like environment, as described by current team members, makes Atrium Hospitality a rewarding place to work and grow professionally. If you are enthusiastic about hospitality and eager to contribute to an esteemed brand with excellent career development opportunities, this Breakfast Attendant role is an ideal fit.
