In this role, you will be an essential part of the food production process, ensuring high-quality baked goods are prepared efficiently and safely. Duties

  • Carefully separate and portion dough according to product specifications, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including mixing, shaping, and assembling bread products with precision.
  • Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently, monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to ensure optimal results.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with sanitation protocols.
  • Support the bakery team with food handling tasks such as ingredient measurement and dough preparation.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues and supporting overall bakery operations.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts is highly desirable; familiarity with bakery equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedure.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure product consistency and quality control.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or higher;
  • Fast food or retail experience is preferred;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask;
  • Acceptable verbal English communication skill;
  • Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts;
  • Enforce Health Department Regulations and be ServSafe certified;
  • Available to work at least 20 hours a week; weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred.

This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
