Job Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of one year experience in professional bread baking
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as a team player
- Excellent basic mathematical skills
- Must display the ethical and professional standards set forth by Tartine
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certificate
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds or more

- Basic understanding of bread components and fermentation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent basic mathematical skills
- Professional and ethical conduct consistent with Tartine standards
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate
Job Duties
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Tartine
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of bread, including components and fermentation
- Work in a team-driven environment
- Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with co-workers and customers
- Mix dough, manage fermentation, scale and shape, bake bread
- Complete duties on schedule
- Maintain organized and clean work stations
- Perform occasional small duties to aid other departments
- Assist in cleaning production areas
