Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED alternative
  • Less than 12 months of relevant experience in baking, pastry, or kitchen-related tasks is desired
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach overhead and below the knees
  • Capability to work on inclines or staircases
  • Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation protocols consistently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED alternative
  • Less than 12 months of relevant experience in baking, pastry, or kitchen-related tasks is desired
  • No licenses or certifications required
  • Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and guests

Job Duties

  • Ensure that pastries, breads, desserts, and other baked goods are prepared and baked in compliance with standardized recipes and presentation standards
  • Scale out, combine, portion, and prep the elements for the daily baking operations
  • Handle and manage baking machinery and utensils safely and responsibly to maintain their functionality
  • Oversee the functioning of ovens and kitchen devices to guarantee precise cooking durations and temperature management
  • Abide by food safety and sanitation procedures that include proper food storage, personal cleanliness, and ensuring the kitchen remains clean
  • Arrange and disassemble workstation in accordance with kitchen standards
  • Maintain consistent levels of food quality and standards in every batch throughout the shift
