Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Oregon Food Handler Card or ability to obtain before start date
- Reliable transportation for early shift schedules
- Availability to work full-time with static early morning shifts
- Physical ability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work weekends and early mornings
- Demonstrated passion for baking and attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Background in mixing and shaping bread dough
- Passion for home baking or professional baking experience
- Ability to work early morning shifts including weekends
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy bags
- Knowledge of French baking techniques is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Scale and prepare ingredients according to traditional French artisan recipes
- Shape every loaf by hand with attention to detail and consistency
- Calibrate and manage deck ovens to ensure perfect baking results
- Monitor fermentation and proofing stages to optimize flavor development
- Use traditional scoring techniques on breads
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
