Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years professional baking or pastry experience
  • Knowledge of natural leavening and fermentation processes
  • Ability to lift heavy ingredients and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Availability for early morning and weekend shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to adhere to bakery’s processes and standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare naturally leavened breads using long fermentation techniques
  • Bake a rotating selection of comfort-forward pastries including muffins, scones, cookies, and cakes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure consistency and quality of baked goods
  • Manage dough handling processes with attention to timing, temperature, and fermentation
  • Participate in early morning and weekend shifts as required
  • Assist in inventory management and ingredient sourcing focused on seasonal and local products
