Job Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement for alcohol service
- Knowledge of state liquor laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to handle cash and process credit card transactions
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs and perform continuous movements
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and presentation
Job Duties
- Serve menu items and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with maintenance of restaurant and equipment areas via opening and closing checklists
- Direct and implement company service philosophy among staff
- Ensure compliance with all departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
- Greet guests and take orders using suggestive selling and upselling techniques
- Prepare guest checks and process credit cards adhering to cash handling procedures
- Monitor guest intoxication levels and comply with state liquor regulations
