Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years kitchen experience with 4 years executive chef role
  • Culinary certificates from accredited school or equivalent apprenticeship
  • Experience in multi-unit fine dining restaurant groups
  • Ability to coach others without formal authority
  • Serve Safe certification
  • Must be willing to travel 70-80 percent with extended stays
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel by airplane, car, or train

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in culinary leadership with financial accountability
  • Experience in multi-unit fine dining restaurant settings
  • Ability to coach and mentor without formal authority
  • Prefer associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • ACF membership and certification preferred
  • Culinary certificate or apprenticeship experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years kitchen experience with 4 years executive chef experience
  • Experience in high-volume culinary environments
  • Proven culinary presentation and coaching skills
  • Serve Safe certification

Job Duties

  • Coach and teach location level chefs to achieve culinary standards and develop new talent
  • Ensure communication, understanding, and adherence to culinary operational standards
  • Support new restaurant openings with menu support, product selection, and culinary training
  • Collaborate to create and implement culinary, menu, and service innovations
  • Ensure compliance with food management, occupational and environmental safety policies
  • Conduct on-site assessments and audits to verify culinary and operational standards
  • Develop recipes and manage food cost targets for promotional menus
