Job Description
Crown Health Care Laundry is a well-established and rapidly growing linen services company with multiple plants across the southeastern United States, including locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and expanding into South Carolina. The company specializes in providing high-quality, reliable linen delivery and laundry services to healthcare facilities and other institutions that require consistent and sanitary linen supplies. Known for its commitment to service excellence and operational efficiency, Crown Health Care Laundry is dedicated to supporting its clients by ensuring timely pickups and deliveries that meet stringent health and safety standards. The company is proud to offer comprehensive employment opportunities to a diverse team, fostering a workplace culture that emphasizes responsibility, professionalism, and stability.
Currently, Crown Health Care Laundry has an immediate opening for a full-time Box Truck Driver. This position offers a great opportunity for drivers who want to maintain a regular work schedule and be home every day. The role primarily involves delivering and picking up linens daily along assigned routes. Candidates will be working a typical five-day workweek, which provides a consistent routine and work-life balance. This role requires not only competent driving skills but also some administration duties related to documentation and route tracking.
Box Truck Drivers must have a regular driver’s license, though a Class B license is preferred. A minimum of two years of driving experience operating a straight truck is essential for qualification. Drivers must also have an up-to-date Department of Transportation physical, a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and a stable work history that demonstrates responsibility and reliability. Beyond driving, the job requires physical effort including heavy lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling, making physical fitness and stamina important. The ability to make sound decisions quickly and adapt to changing circumstances during routes is crucial to ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction. The position demands excellent customer service skills, as drivers frequently interact with clients and are representatives of Crown Health Care Laundry’s commitment to quality and professionalism.
Successful candidates will enjoy a competitive wage structure and can expect to receive full benefits after completing 60 days of employment. Crown Health Care Laundry prioritizes the health and well-being of its employees through a comprehensive benefits package and supports diversity and inclusion as an Affirmative Action Employer. This role is especially suited for individuals who value a stable work environment, consistent schedules, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the operational success of a respected and growing company. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply by submitting their resume via email, as phone calls are not accepted. The company reinforces its commitment to equal employment opportunities, welcoming candidates of all genders, disabilities, and veteran status.
