Job Requirements

  • Experience in box office or ticketing management
  • Available to work at two venues within San Diego County for 20 plus hours a week
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Leadership, management, and customer service skills
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms
  • High school diploma

  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and team-building skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred

Job Duties

  • Organize/manage daily and nightly box office operations for two venues including Will Call, guest list, ticket sales, ticket scanning, event building, and accounting
  • Assist and support box office staff in any of their job functions as needed
  • Ensure a positive and creative team environment within the department
  • Facilitate open communication with the box office manager, staff, and all other venue departments
  • Exhibit proper inter-departmental communications and organization
  • Ensure complete and satisfactory ongoing staff training
  • Assist manager with staff evaluations including training, 90-day, and annual reviews
