Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, established in 2015. The company boasts a comprehensive platform that spans venue development along with end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. OVG operates a collection of seven world-class owned venues and serves an impressive client roster that includes iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Through its innovative approaches and expansive presence, OVG has firmly positioned itself as a pioneer in shaping the live entertainment industry worldwide. This environment creates opportunities for career growth and development within a fast-paced, dynamic sector focused on extraordinary live event experiences.

The Box Office Assistant Manager role is based with OVG's Savannah ticket operations team supporting events held at the Enmarket Arena, Johnny Mercer Theatre, and the VyStar Pavilion. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient ticketing operations across multiple venues. Responsibilities include assisting with event setup in the Ticketmaster system, monitoring ticket inventory closely, processing sales and refunds, preparing invoices, and supporting the execution of seamless event-day operations. Beyond technical ticket management, the Box Office Assistant Manager also focuses on leading and mentoring part-time box office staff through scheduling, training, supervision, and ongoing performance coaching. Maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency is essential to the success of this role.

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $45,000 to $55,000, reflecting both the responsibilities and the expertise required. Benefits for this role include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) savings plan coupled with employer matching contributions; and paid time off encompassing vacation days, sick leave, and 11 recognized holidays. The role requires a flexible schedule that can accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended shifts, and consecutive workdays in alignment with the live event calendar.

As a vital member of the Savannah operations team, the Box Office Assistant Manager is tasked with utilizing the complete Ticketmaster suite including TM1, Archtics, and Host for daily ticket sales functions, such as processing payments, exchanges, refunds, will-call distribution, and fulfilling approved charity ticket requests. Building and managing event listings within the ticketing system also falls under this role, including maintaining seat manifests, price tables, holds/kills, discounts, and pre-sales configuration. This position ensures accurate invoicing and financial documentation, oversees ticket scanning operations including setup and maintenance, and communicates relevant event information to other departments and clients.

A commitment to exceptional customer service frames all aspects of this role. The Box Office Assistant Manager serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and troubleshooting ticket-related issues, acting as a problem solver who stays informed on all event details, policies, and ongoing promotions. Supporting the hiring, scheduling, supervision, and training of part-time box office personnel, this position helps maintain a cohesive and motivated team aligned with Oak View Group’s principles and standards. The role demands excellent organizational skills, strong communication capabilities, the ability to multitask under pressure, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
