BOWLING CENTER MANAGER

This position is part of the NAF Career Program and is located at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina. The role being recruited is for a Bowling Center Manager responsible for the economic and efficient operation of bowling center facilities and activities. This position requires leadership in implementing higher-level directives and formulating procedures and programs to ensure the highest standards in food and beverage services, recreational activities, and promotional events. The manager will oversee the acquisition and management of supplies, equipment, and resale merchandise to maintain optimal inventory. Financial stewardship is critical, as the manager establishes budgetary goals based on market analysis, prepares budgets, analyzes financial outcomes, and ensures the financial health of the center.

Additionally, the Bowling Center Manager supervises workforce management, including recruitment, training, and staff development. They are charged with managing real property resources, advising on renovations, improvements, and construction projects to maintain an excellent environment for patrons. The role includes promoting and organizing open and league bowling as well as special events, conducting bowling classes, and ensuring all maintenance and preventive maintenance activities on facilities and equipment are completed. The manager also oversees associated operations such as a pro shop and snack bar, ensuring they meet customer needs.
