Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or senior line cook in a high-volume environment, airport lounge, hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or airport experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members, including those without prior kitchen experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Support the Chef in the day-to-day kitchen operations, including prep, service, and closing
  • Prepare and present high-quality food in accordance with company standards and menus
  • Ensure consistent execution of composed dishes
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering, and cost control initiatives
  • Train, coach, and support lounge team members, including non-culinary staff, to ensure proper food handling and execution
  • Provide clear guidance and simplified processes to support team members with varying levels of experience
  • Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
