With over 150 properties worldwide, Hotel Indigo strives to capture the true essence of its neighborhoods by offering guests authentic experiences that reflect the culture, charm, and unique character of the local area. This global hospitality brand is dedicated to creating memorable and personalized guest experiences through meaningful connections to the people, places, and stories that define each destination. The brand fosters a creative and inclusive work environment that encourages employees to bring their personal stories and individuality into their roles.
The Bartender role at Hotel Indigo is pivotal to delivering these remarkable experiences, as bartenders serve as the warm, welcoming face of the hotel bars. This role is designed not only to serve expertly crafted beverages but to act as a local expert, helpful host, and proud brand ambassador. Bartenders at Hotel Indigo are essential in creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for guests, whether they are unwinding after a long meeting or delayed travel. The bartender is responsible for preparing drinks to the highest quality standards, highlighting promotions, and working in synchrony with restaurant colleagues to ensure seamless food and beverage service.
The role also involves operational responsibilities such as setting up the bar, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness and security, handling cash and credit transactions, and adhering to strict safety procedures. Bartenders need to be physically fit and strong, able to work on their feet for long periods, lift and move heavy objects like barrels and crates up to 50 pounds, and be flexible with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Experienced bartending skills and formal training are highly valued, along with compliance with local laws and the ability to communicate warmly and effectively with guests. The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.75, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, and more.
Working as a Bartender at Hotel Indigo offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and inspiring hospitality brand that celebrates individuality and local culture. Employees are encouraged to bring their unique personalities and stories to enrich the guest experience. Whether seasoned or new to the craft, Hotel Indigo values passionate and articulate individuals who want to contribute to an outstanding service culture and who enjoy working in a fast-paced and guest-focused environment. The company promotes diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from candidates who may not meet every single requirement but are eager to grow and excel in their role.
