Bartenders need to be physically fit and strong, able to work on their feet for long periods, lift and move heavy objects like barrels and crates up to 50 pounds, and be flexible with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Experienced bartending skills and formal training are highly valued, along with compliance with local laws and the ability to communicate warmly and effectively with guests.
