Job Qualifications
- Cashier or bank teller experience
- Basic operational use of standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Friendly and courteous demeanor
- Positive attitude towards safety and customer service
Job Duties
- Smile and greet all customers while providing exceptional customer service at the booth counter
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the store
- Assist customers with check cashing, lottery ticket sales, money gram, money orders, postage stamps, and phone cards
- Follow transaction and money handling procedures according to company policy
- Compare submitted tills with register readings to ensure they are balanced
- Maintain a friendly, courteous attitude and ensure positive customer interactions
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for customers, team members, and vendors
