- Valid medical license to practice psychiatry

Job Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of psychiatry residency
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
- Experience with outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care
- Ability to provide telehealth services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in academic supervision and teaching
- Commitment to veteran-centered care
Job Duties
- Carry an outpatient caseload seen face to face or via telehealth
- Staff walk-in acute care clinic as scheduled
- Cross-cover inpatient consult service and inpatient psychiatry service when needed
- Obtain and maintain an academic appointment at the University of Washington School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
- Supervise senior resident caseloads and participate in residency program activities
- Supervise residents on call and round on inpatient ward and consults on call weekends
- Conduct chart reviews for professional practice evaluation and other requests as assigned
