Job Requirements

Food handler's license and liquor server permits as required by state law or ability to obtain
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening weekends and holidays
Reliable and consistent attendance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Hospitality or hotel work experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Duties

Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and kitchen staff ensuring accurate order taking and service
Take customer orders serve food prep food and prepare coffee or tea following food safety and quality guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the bistro or catering area including tables utensils glassware condiments and dining surfaces
Buss and clean tables after each guest use ensuring a tidy and welcoming environment
Assist with event setup service and teardown for catering functions and banquet events as needed
Wash dishes in the absence of a dishwasher ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness
Receive and store food and supply orders properly following storage and inventory guidelines
