Job Description

Es Vedra Cinemas is a premier entertainment company operating 18 locations across 6 states, offering much more than just traditional movie screenings. As a dynamic entertainment destination, Es Vedra Cinemas provides a unique out-of-home experience that combines movies, bowling, arcade games, and various other attractions, all conveniently housed under one roof. With a commitment to delivering immersive and unforgettable entertainment, the company caters to a wide audience ranging from casual fun seekers to thrill-chasers. They strive to create exceptional experiences that foster social interactions among families, friends, and communities, making their venues more than just movie theaters but vibrant entertainment hubs.

The role of BOH (Back of House) Supervisor at Es Vedra Cinemas is a vital leadership position within the kitchen team. This role is designed to support the Kitchen Manager in maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and team operations. The BOH Supervisor leads by example, providing clear communication and the necessary tools to ensure team members perform at their best in a positive and quality-driven environment. Responsibilities include overseeing food preparation and production, ensuring the freshness and safety of food products, and adhering to company policies and procedures. The position demands a proactive approach to managing daily kitchen operations and maintaining excellent guest experiences related to food service. The BOH Supervisor also plays an essential role in training staff on new menu items and kitchen protocols, contributing significantly to operational excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with prior leadership experience in a kitchen or food service setting who aspire to develop their skills in a dynamic and fun entertainment environment. The position requires a strong commitment to food safety, sanitation, and quality control, along with an ability to motivate and guide team members effectively. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes loud and busy environment, with the physical capability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds. The role includes a requirement to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, particularly during peak times.

Es Vedra Cinemas offers competitive pay and the potential for career growth, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports health, wellness, and retirement planning. Team members enjoy perks such as discounts on movies, attractions, and food and beverage products, reflecting the company’s dedication to rewarding its workforce. As an equal employment opportunity employer, Es Vedra Cinemas values diversity and inclusion, ensuring a respectful and supportive workplace for all employees regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other legally protected characteristics.
