We are currently seeking a dedicated Cake Team Member to join our dynamic and professional Back of House team.

This role is integral to the success of our dessert and pastry offerings. The ideal candidate will specialize in scaling, decorating, and producing cakes, pastries, and other desserts, ensuring all confectionary items meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a passion for baking and decorating, combined with a strong sense of organization and an eagerness to learn and improve. The Cake Team Member will be responsible not only for the production of desserts but also for maintaining cleanliness, managing supplies and equipment, and supporting the team by sharing knowledge of techniques and recipes. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or similar environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in pastry or confectionary production
  • Skills in cake decorating
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Understanding of recipe execution and production procedures

Job Duties

  • Responsible for scaling, decorating and producing of all desserts, pastries and cakes
  • General knowledge of production methods and organization of confectionary production
  • Learn new products and skills and has ability to demonstrate proper techniques to back of house team
  • Sanitization procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of workstation
  • Must be able to manage time and skills with strong organization
  • Knowledge of all recipes and procedures of all production
  • Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
  • Inform supervisor when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
