Job Description

As the only restaurant in downtown Madison with lakefront access, The Boathouse attracts both local residents and guests of the prestigious 4-Star Edgewater hotel. Patrons enjoy signature dishes such as the Chicken BLT on Stella’s Spicy Cheese Bread, a popular burger stack, and a hearty one-pound lobster roll. Alongside the high-quality food, guests can savor refreshing beverages like the Boathouse Cooler and finish their meal with homemade pies, all while taking in stunning lake views. The restaurant offers a casual yet vibrant atmosphere where families and friends come together to relax, dine, and create memorable experiences. Visitors can even arrive by boat, utilizing the restaurant’s convenient pier access, underscoring The Boathouse's exclusive charm and appeal.

The Boathouse operates seasonally from May through September, providing motivated individuals with the opportunity to join a dynamic team passionate about delivering exceptional service and hospitality. The role open is for a Boathouse Supervisor who will be integral to the restaurant’s overall success by ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional food and beverage service. This position offers flexible training schedules prior to the seasonal opening date and shift flexibility during the high season, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The Boathouse is committed to equipping its staff with top-of-the-line products, excellent facilities, and comprehensive on-the-job training—ensuring employees have all they need to thrive and deliver outstanding guest experiences. Benefits include employee discounts on dining, spa services, retail, and affiliated hotels, as well as parking and public transit support for part-time and seasonal roles.
