Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- previous professional dog experience preferred
- ability to work full-time shifts
- availability for day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail
- must pass required background checks and any other employment screenings
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous professional experience with dogs preferred
- strong multitasking and time management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- provide daily care and oversight for boarding pets
- assist veterinarians and staff in general practice and emergency procedures
- monitor and attend to the wellbeing of dogs, cats, and exotic pets
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of animal care areas
- multitask effectively while managing diverse responsibilities
- interact positively and compassionately with pets and pet owners
- support specialty veterinary services as needed
