The Security position at Frank Productions offers an exciting part-time opportunity in Columbia, MO, with positions available at the Blue Note and Rose Music Hall venues. Starting at $20 per hour, this role is integral to maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff and patrons during events. It involves monitoring ingress and egress to venues, identifying potential security threats, responding promptly to safety incidents, and collaborating closely with venue management and event staff.

Job Requirements

  • Previous security or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Background check clearance

Job Duties

  • Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff and patrons
  • Ensure safe and efficient ingress and egress into the venue
  • Identify any issues or threats within the venue and report concerns to venue management
  • Respond to security and safety needs in a timely manner
  • Communicate clearly with staff, patrons, vendors and clients about day-of-event needs
  • Maintain an understanding of the venue Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow accordingly
  • Assist with opening and closing tasks of the relevant building
  • Follow company protocol for the relevant building as communicated by venue management
  • All other duties as assigned
