Rainbow Blossom is a well-established natural food market and wellness center based in Louisville, founded in 1977 by Rob and Pumpkin Auerbach and now managed by their daughter Summer Auerbach. The company is currently seeking dedicated Blossom Bar Team Members who can contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences in its Blossom Bar, a food service area within Rainbow Blossom. This role is essential in upholding the high standards of food safety, quality control, customer service, and overall operational excellence that the company is known for. Blossom Bar Team Members are responsible for preparing menu items, adhering strictly to food safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. They must be proactive, friendly, and professional, ensuring that every customer's needs are met with warmth and efficiency. The role can be either full-time or part-time depending on the needs of the Blossom Bar Manager, with full-time positions not exceeding 40 hours per week and part-time positions limited to 30 hours weekly. Applicants should be prepared for a flexible work schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
The position demands a Food Service Manager Certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire, underlining the importance Rainbow Blossom places on certified food safety knowledge. Team Members need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism at all times. They must be comfortable engaging with customers by greeting them promptly and attentively, answering questions, describing menu items effectively, and making helpful recommendations. The ability to stay calm and composed during busy periods, when multiple orders require attention, is also crucial. This role offers an opportunity to work in an indoor, climate-controlled environment with potential physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for long periods.

Job Requirements
- must have a food service manager certification completed within 90 days of hire
- able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally sit, squat, or kneel, and rarely climb
- work indoors in climate-controlled environments including walk-in coolers and freezers
