This role, Technician-Blending, involves responsibility for blending syrup and/or finished products (hot fill) from concentrate at Coca-Cola UNITED. Operating within the Gulf States division, the work schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with some on-call weekends and holidays. The technician will be responsible for practicing proper blending techniques, including batch and ingredient scanning, maintaining inventory documentation, ingredient ordering and inspection, and ensuring syrup and finished product testing as required. Comprehensive equipment maintenance through sanitizing and adherence to good manufacturing practices is essential for this position. Additional duties include collecting and maintaining syrup and sugar retain systems, testing rinse water for pH, taste, odor, and appearance, and performing management-assigned tasks. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, safety compliance, and a proactive approach to maintaining high quality and operational standards in beverage production. Candidates must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain professional standards in a team-oriented setting.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
  • Forklift experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Basic knowledge MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) preferred
  • Basic math skills to include basic unit conversions
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in high stress environments and multitask effectively
  • Ability to work with others

Job Duties

  • Practice proper blending techniques to include batch/ingredient scanning
  • Properly maintain and document inventory as required
  • Ingredient ordering, receiving, inspecting, and testing as required
  • Syrup and/or finished product (hot fill) testing as required
  • Maintain blending equipment through proper sanitizing techniques (Internal and External)
  • Utilize proper good manufacturing practices
  • Collect and maintain the syrup and sugar retain system
  • Collect and test rinse water for pH and taste, odor, and appearance where applicable
  • Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
